I was just banned from your FF server and I am not sure why.

What happend? : I'm really not sure.  The map was Ardvark. I was sniping against AlphAlfa (another regular), and he kept owning me.  I changed to demo for a round, used pipe grenades to jump over to their base, where I tried to kill alphalfa on their sniper deck.  Alphalfa ran away and I got into a battle with an -sN- member as a demo man also.  We ended up killing each other.   

Then I switched back to sniper to try to get alphalfa again.  Right after I spawn the -sN- member that I fought as demo says "You're done here English".  I responded "I'm done with what?  Please explain".   Then it said "Disconnected : Abuse".  When I try to rejoin it says I am banned.

I really don't understand why I was banned, or what abuse happened.  I hope this is just a mis understanding and maybe my name got confused with someone else or something.


I do not hack.  I do not abuse other players.  I am 21 years old, and try to act my age as much as possible when playing.  I live in Cali, and get a great ping and have a fun time playing on your server.  I play on it all the time, as with some other regulars that were on at the time of this ban, such as Alphalfa, L@dyDe@th, CaleB-, and a few others.  I am a regular on your FF server, as well as the other few FF servers.   There are not many, and I get the best ping on yours, so I would very much like to sort this out.

I am posting here requesting that the ban be lifted/looked into/what ever.

I respect your wishes, as it is your server.  But I felt that I had to post this as I feel the ban was for something I didn't do.  I am quite confused about the whole situation.

Reasoning has not been posted yet. We may need to see who actually did the ban and see what happened. Also it may just be a temp ban so you can try back and see on that as well. Only serious abuse or hacking cause perminent bans.

I just tried again and you are right, it was only temporary.  For all I know the ban may have lifted while I was typing out that post, lol.

I'm still unsure as to why I was banned, but I am very glad I am unbanned.  I'm not an abusive player at all, and I appreciate you guys running one of the best FF servers out there.  I help to run a surf server/community for CS:S, and have run many servers in the past.  I understand what it is like dealing with users asking to be unbanned ect.  I appreciate the quick response and the professional atmosphere of this section of your forums.  (not saying the rest of the forums are bad, just haven't checked them out yet, lol)
