What does your alias mean or why did you pick it?

I got my name back in 1996 when total annihilation came out and I was playing in several tournys. I always went by commen names, but I was gaven my name for my achivments as a Arm commander in the vulcan bertha clan. I used to go by the names of Zero-X, Hermies, and dozens of other generic names. When I first started playing Quake 2 I decided to keep the name Ex-Core because of its identifiability, as opposed to such names os Zero-X, Kemo, #008, Ghost, Jubei, and various other names.
I wont be changing my name anytime soon, I like the uniqueness.
